01 God loves you.
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1
Everything started with God. He was the one who created all things, including people. He created each one of us with the greatest care and love. God is a Father who made us with a purpose: to know him, to be with him and to be like him.
02 We have sinned.
“It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore.” Isaiah 59:2
God made us with the ability to choose whether to love and know Him or not. From the first people up until now, all of us have chosen to put ourselves first. Thisis called sin and sin separates us from God. We all deserve to be apart from Him forever.
03 Jesus came.
“For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
The only way for us to be forgiven of our sin was for God himself to pay the cost. He sent his Son, Jesus, to save us. Jesus is fully God and fully man, who cameas a baby, led a perfect life on earth, gave up his life on a cross, and was raised to life again!
04 How do we respond?
“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
So what do we do? Because of what Jesus has done, we can now choose to come to Him, to say sorry for our sin, and live for Him. Through Jesus, we can know total forgiveness of our sins and eternal life with God. We can also know the incredible joy that comes from knowing God every day of our lives.

Dear God,
Thank you that that you know me and love me. I am sorry for sinning against you and doing things my own way.
Thank you Jesus for giving your life for me. Today I receive your gift of life and choose to follow you as my Lord and Saviour. Help me to honour you through my life.
