Bryan Shutt

On Tuesday, July 19th 2022, Bryan Shutt, beloved husband, father, grandfather and Apostle of Christ, passed away surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer.

Bryan has provided apostolic direction to Covenant Life Church since 2002, as well as churches in Zambia and South Africa.

He will be greatly missed – his leadership, teaching, preaching and pastoral care have impacted so many and he leaves behind a rich legacy and has been a great example of ‘HESED’ – steadfast love, loyalty, faithfulness and integrity.

2 Timothy 4:7 – 8 (NIV) ‘I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.’

Now at home in glory with Jesus after a race well run.  Always in our hearts, we give thanks to the Lord for his life.

Overflow parking for Bryan’s Celebration of Life Service will be available at Chroma Church. Please see bellow map for directions.

We're here for God, for each other and for the world around us

We are a local and lively church community who care for, encourage and support each other.  We’re made up of all sorts of backgrounds, ages and nations. We love life and we’re deeply committed to God and to others.

At Covenant Life Church we’re here to fully live out the good news of Jesus Christ.  Come and join us and we’ll show you how Jesus, through the Holy Spirit makes our lives extraordinary; filled with love, hope and purpose.

CLC to me feels like family, it feels like home. When we joined we were made to feel so welcome, not just us but our kids too. We knew the presence of God. It’s such a loving environment where you can feel safe, have it meets your needs and it’s definitely a place where you can learn and grow. It really is great.

We’re amongst a group of people who love Jesus and really want to serve Jesus with all their heart. It’s such a great place to be. To be with likeminded people, to have fellowship, to love God and serve the community are all important and I’d say CLC has got it all.

It’s really simple, I love belonging to this church as I know Jesus is here. This church is full of people that love Jesus. I’d say it’s my family. I can get involved by serving God which makes a reality of what I believe in.
