YouthHaving an adventure with Jesus

Our youth group is a mix of dynamic, friendly and fun-loving 11-18 year olds from all over the city and beyond.  The majority of the group love Jesus and are on an adventure together to follow Him in every part of their lives.

We meet on Friday nights during term time from 7.30pm – 9.15pm, usually at The Big Shed. It’s a great opportunity to hang out, make friends and to share and encourage each other.  You don’t have to be a Christian to come along but we do share our faith openly.

We have plenty of fun and games in our youth room, which can mean playing table tennis, pool or letting off steam with dodgeball!  We also arrange nights-out together too whether that’s playing laser-force, bowling, trampolining, grabbing food or taking part in the nearly-famous mass treasure hunts!

We take part in a special youth residential weekend retreat once a year in October where we join with other youth groups in our wider church family in Ministries without Borders.

We also join with other church youth groups across the city at United Youth Leicester events three times a year.

“I love the diversity here, there are so many different people that we get to meet every Sunday. So from youth, that I’m in, to an older generation, it’s really mixed. I love going to the youth events here, we meet up every Friday night and occasionally on Sunday mornings we have our own time together too. Recently I was given the chance to preach in the main meeting, which was a great opportunity for someone my age. I’ve been really supported in growing in my faith by the leaders here.”
